Report a Potential Tobacco Violation

Oregon’s Indoor Clean Air Act bans smoking, vaping, or ashtrays:

  • Indoors where people work
  • Public places
  • Within 10 feet of all entrances, exits, ramps to an entrance or exit, windows that open and air-intake vents.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) prohibits:

  • Sales to minors (under 18)
  • Sale of cigarettes in packs of less than 20 or single cigarettes
  • Sale of smokeless tobacco in amounts smaller than original pack size
  • Flavored cigarettes or flavored cigarette tobacco sales
  • Free samples of cigarette and cigarette products
  • Self-service displays
  • Vending machine/direct access to cigarette or smokeless tobacco.
