Fundamentals of Tobacco Treatment

This two-day training provides an overview of concepts and practices fundamental to tobacco treatment. It includes a review of tobacco addiction, motivational interviewing and counseling skills, pharmacotherapy, treatment interventions, assessment, and e-cigarettes.  It is a good fit for all practitioners looking to obtain a foundational grasp of tobacco treatment knowledge and skills. (12 CEU hours available)

*Please note that this training does NOT fulfill training requirements to become a tobacco treatment specialist.

Training will be held at Oregon Research Institute in Eugene (1776 Millrace); lunch will be served both days

Cost:for contracted Trillium providers $50, non-Trillium providers $150.
