Elisabeth is the Alcohol and Drug Prevention Coordinator and the Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Coordinator at PreventionLane. Elisabeth works with her Alcohol and Drug Prevention team members in planning and implementing the Lane County Alcohol and Drug prevention work plan. She enjoys collaborating with advisory groups and with community partners on issues at the local and state level.

Elisabeth has a background in social work in domestic violence, substance abuse treatment, and child protection. She has a Master’s degree and doctorate in Public Health from Oregon State University (OSU). Elisabeth taught in the Health Promotion track at OSU for three years after earning her degrees there.

Elisabeth comes to Lane County Public Health from the University of Oregon (UO), where she worked for two years in the Student Health Center in the Health Promotion Department. There, she was in charge of sexual health and tobacco cessation program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Outside of work, Elisabeth’s passions are her family, running, working out, reading, knitting, needle arts, and the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
