Mission
Our program provides staff support to educate, engage, and assist Lane County to address priority substance abuse, problem gambling, and suicide prevention issues through strategic community health promotion initiatives and evidence-based prevention strategies.

Community Health Promotion
We work to develop and support community partnerships and community mobilization efforts to address prevention of problem behaviors and increase protection at the local level. Lane County Prevention Program engages the community, examine data and policy opportunities to shape county prevention and health promotion practices and priorities. Our program also provides staff support to community based coalitions, schools, key leaders, businesses, social service and health care providers, and others concerned about the health of their community.
